Commodities Market Data Management & Discovery Services Developer (VP)

Design, develop, and test new software modules and applications using functional & object oriented programming in a test driven manner using various software development processes, principles, and frameworks.

Responsibilities:

• Desktop & server side application development with Microsoft.Net, C#, WPF, Python, XML, JSON, Oracle PL/SQL Server, Visual Studio, Tibco EMS.
• Web application development with HTML, React, Javascript, Typescript.
• Database programming with Oracle PL / SQL / Microsoft SQL Server and implement appropriate technology solutions and POC's in support of new enhancements required by business and technology stakeholders.
• Use ServiceNow for production application release management. Use Team Foundation Server, Bitbucket Source Control system. Use Continuous integration, automated build and one click deployment using Team City, uDeploy tools.
• Develop and enhance applications with external connectivity to Bloomberg / Reuters / London Metal Exchange / Intercontinental Exchange.
• Develop and maintain real time data distribution platform to various other downstream systems.
• Coordinate with other technology teams to provide technology solutions. Work with vendor teams to implement and enhance data sourcing applications.
• Monitor and support existing production system providing short and long term technology solutions to avoid production outages.
• Perform peer code reviews. Maintain appropriate systems documentation.

Technical Knowledge/Experience:

3+ years of experience must include:

C#, XAML, WPF, Python; Anaconda, Jupyter Notebooks, Oracle PL/SQL, JSON, Visual Studio; HTML, React, Javascript, Typescript, HP Service Management, ServiceNow; TeamCity, Team Foundation Server, Bitbucket, uDeploy, HP Service Now, devops tools, Bloomberg / Reuters / LME connectivity, Experience working with Quants Libraries Commodities business process flows.
