What we need:

We're seeking a Communication Channels Specialist to join our Internal Communications team, to help us create and execute targeted strategies and content for all the new and existing digital channels we use to communicate with our various, dispersed employees and teams across North America. This position sets the tone for how the business shares information with employees, providing a creative vision that successfully translates key messages into behaviors and ensuring a regular cadence of content across relevant internal channels.

What you'll do:

• Support creation of content distributed via the company's various internal communication channels used to share information, including web-based materials, mobile content, e-signs, print, video and live events.
• Responsible for all channel and content development and management across our intranet (MyMohawk), mass email distribution, e-sign network and PR/External media channels.
• Write, edit and publish articles and announcements for the myMohawk intranet page.
• Solicit and source channel content from across the business, building relationships as you go, to provide content coverage across the breadth of the organization and its scope of work and employee experiences.
• Write and edit copy for various other deliverables and channels as needed.
• Engage with Communications' Client Management team to support creative initiatives and the related channel deliverable from conception through post-production metrics.
• Maintain the quality of technical aspects of our Intranet and mobile platforms while bolstering the business value and professional standards of the content delivered via those platforms.
• Identify ways to advance and improve our current channel platforms and offerings to ensure we are in line with best practices, current trends, and the needs and behaviors of our employee audiences.
• Help plan/participate in shared employee engagement event efforts for the Calhoun HQ campus.

What you have:

• Bachelor's Degree in related field required; Master's Degree preferred.
• Strong writing skillset
• 3-5 years preferred in communications-related field, including corporate communications, journalism, marketing, PR agency or independently owned boutique production and/or consultant company, but entry-level candidates with superior writing and organization skills will be considered as well.
• Solutions related type mentality. Ambitious go-getter personality.

What you're good at:

• Communicating effectively with a wide range of individuals in written, oral and interpersonal form.
• Staying organized and paying attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintaining technical proficiency with the software, equipment and web-based tools necessary to provide all content management and distribution for the function.
• Prioritizing a strong sense of storytelling, both verbally and visually, with an emphasis on acculturating messages and ensuring consistency of content, tone and visuals.
• Taking ownership of a project or task, thinking outside of the box and creating solutions that drive results.
• Working autonomously as well as collaboratively with a team of 5-6.

• This is an on site role located in Calhoun, GA. We offer 1 day remote.
