The Opportunity at Culture Amp
This hybrid role is open to candidates located in the San Francisco Bay Area.Â
This is a truly unique opportunity to join our recently established, and fast-growing, Internal Communications team. We are the storytellers, curators and custodians of translating strategy, company values and priorities to help Culture Amp communicate better, improve alignment and increase productivity; ultimately creating an informed and engaged workforce.
The Internal Communications team has already delivered the companyâs 2025 strategy roadshow, managed the communication of an acquisition, executed a company wide communications audit and survey to determine the key pain points within the business and identified the priorities for communications at Culture Amp in 2022.
Internal Communications is responsible for running our monthly All Camp, coordinating communications in our core channels and establishing a collaborative and streamlined approach to communication across the business.Â
Once youâre in the seat, you will be responsible for:
- Core Communications: Maintain and support the internal communications calendar, produce our monthly company-wide town halls, and weekly newsletter, support the development of Confluence pages, assist in the scheduling of communications output and production of ongoing engaging communications for the organization across multiple media formats
- Communications Projects: Drive a business-wide upgrade of our channels (incl. Slack and Confluence), and update of existing/rollout of new intranet. Support the delivery of communications projects e.g launches of new products and processes, internal events, people policies and Culture Amp milestones etc.Â
- Proactive content: Identify and build stories from across the business to engage our teams in the progress and growth of the company. Source stories from our external communications, research, customer stories, people in our business, and share them with our employees in engaging and creative ways.Â
You have
- Strong written & verbal communication skills. You understand what makes a good story and have experience communicating key messaging across a diverse and widespread audience.Â
- Experience working with a distributed team and using communication tools like Slack and Confluence.
- Strong organizational skills. You are someone who is comfortable operating in an exciting but highly ambiguous environment with tight deadlines.
- Resourcefulness. You are willing to find quick and easy solutions without always having access to design or copy support.
- A âgut feelâ of what makes a good story and youâre wanting to learn how to best communicate those stories across a diverse global organization. You understand that people absorb information in various ways and that having a mix of how we connect is important.

- A creative written and verbal communicator and passionate about storytelling.
- Able to build collaborative relationships with people in other teams.
- A self motivated team member within a team that sits across time zones and locations.
- Adaptable, pragmatic, and resilient. You seek progress over perfection and are comfortable operating in an ambiguous environment with tight deadlines.
- Able to influence stakeholders and build strong relationships with people across an entire business.Â
- Keen to learn new things and able to raise questions and seek clarity when needed.
