Communications Coordinator
Job Description

The Communications Coordinator will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.
Responsibilities
- Manage budget and procurement process for five cost centers, including preparing purchase requisitions, tracking of invoices, completing monthly variance analysis & accruals for the team, and maintaining a well-organized file of purchase orders.
- Assist with writing and creation of social media content, articles, presentations, content development and other ad hoc projects (i.e. website).
- Effectively manage relationships in a cordial and professional manner and consistently look for new ideas to further develop working relationships with the team and cross functional groups.
- Manage and populate team SharePoint (trainings, team calendar, vacation tracker, etc).
- Manage branding and SWAG program.
- Understand organizational policies and procedures necessary to ensure appropriate decision-making protocols are followed.
- Act as cross-functional point of contact and attend weekly executive support meetings.
- Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks for the team including: managing active calendar appointments across multiple time zones; completing expense reports; and arranging detailed travel plans and itineraries.
QualificationsÂ
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications preferred by not required or equivalent experience
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Positive can-do attitude, willing to follow through and do what it takes to get the job done
- Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently
- Comfortable working with people at all organizational levels
- Exceptional ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under critical deadlines and manage workload with little direction
- Desire to constantly look for opportunities to make things run more smoothly
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a collaborative team, and assume additional responsibilities as required
- Demonstrates emotional maturity and interact with staff professionally
- Strong computer and social media skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook calendaring, Outlook email, One Drive and One Note, Concur etc.)
- Maintains strict confidentiality standards
- Ability to remain flexible, embrace change and manage uncertainty, all while thriving in fast-paced environmen

Travel requirements
- 10% or less for critical company events
Working Conditions
- Corporate office setting with 95% desk work, will have sit/stand desk.Â

Physical Requirements
- Able to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, crawling. and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day.
- Able to work on computer screen format for up to twelve (12) hours a day.
