Base Pay Range: $80,100.00 - $136,200.00 Annually

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

As a member of the corporate communications team, the Communications Leader will drive activities in support of KLA's key corporate initiatives, including (but not limited to) corporate financials and earnings, inclusion and diversity (I&D) efforts, environment, social and governance (ESG) programs, media relations programs, product launch support, awards and thought leadership. Additionally, this individual communications generalist will partner with business and division leaders to understand and translate key business goals into communications plans and campaigns across external and internal audiences spanning owned, earned and paid channels.

High-level examples of standard responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to develop and edit stories for publication on internal and external channels, including social media
  • Writing and editing press releases and external announcements, and working with the editor to publish content on the company blog (Wordpress)
  • Engagement with I&D, HR and ESG leadership to develop communications plans and collateral that supports their agenda
  • Developing project briefs that outline scope and requirements such that all project partners are aligned and working efficiently together
  • Manage the editorial calendar, which includes of events, milestone moments, publications, launches, etc.

Minimum Qualifications

The successful candidate will bring the following capabilities:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Excellent writing and editing skills for a variety of audiences
  • Ability to distill complex topics into accessible language
  • Proficiency in creating videos and blogs, in partnership with editorial and social media leads
  • Strong presentation creation and editing skills
  • Experience developing and editing media advisories
  • Experience with project and agency coordination and management
  • Strong understanding of media landscape and current social/economic issues
  • Executive presence and ability to counsel senior staff
  • Ability to coordinate across teams and subject matter experts
  • Comfortable moving quickly between strategic thinking and tactical execution
  • Natural curiosity and strong desire to learn
