Communications Manager

As a member of the Digital Assurance & Automation communications team, you will build an integrated internal communications program to engage and align our leaders and employees across the CX organization. This role requires a mixture of program management and content creation.
You will:

• Help build a communications program that drives alignment across the Global CX organization around our team's vision, strategy and priorities. This will include organizational communications, employee events, presentation support for leadership meetings, and leveraging internal digital channels such as SharePoint and Webex Team space
• Empower employee engagement to cultivate a positive, inclusive and collaborative community and environment that attracts and improves talent, fosters innovation, and encourages excellence
• Synthesize business initiatives, company performance, technology and innovation strategies for internal audiences to easily digest and feel inspired

Some of the responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with other members in communications, organizational change management and leadership to build content that supports the organization's and company's strategic priorities
• Project manage communications plans and initiatives
• Create or edit executive presentations
• Write, edit and post announcements
• Create SharePoint sites and send communications through Webex spaces
• Create internal videos
• Write talking points for internal communications or events
• Coordinate internal team events and activities
• Create and/or edit marketing collateral and customer presentations in accordance with Cisco and CX brand standards

Who you are

• 8+ years of experience creating, managing, and implementing complex communications plans
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize with agility and speed while balancing concurrent projects
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, translating complexity into easy-to-understand words and images
• Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Good social skills with intuitive ability to influence people
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
