About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a Content and Communications Manager

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for the delivery of a range of content assets, including social content, website/email content and event, pr and newsletter content.
  • Ensure we are consistent in our key messaging, engagement tactics and always exemplifying our brand tone of voice. Remaining diligently engaged across target markets.
  • Management of social media channels, to include but not limited to, Linkedin, Instagram, Facebook.
  • To develop and execute social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement across various platforms, to include the creation of social content, working alongside internal design teams.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, industry news, and conversations relevant to DMI.
  • Development and implementation of communications strategies and management responsibility for a small, agile team of content/pr/events talent plus our agency extension team(s).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop content for their specific requirements, subject to prioritization.
  • Ensure the website is consistently refreshed and up to date with the latest content.
  • Maintain a schedule for blog posts - working in collaboration with the Enterprise Offerings division.
  • Work with Marketing and Inside Sales to track the effectiveness of Content and Communications efforts.
  • Manage and maintain organized communications and social calendars, ensuring timely delivery of engaging content.
  • When required oversee logistics for press interviews, journalist visits, photographers, inhouse marketing led events.
  • Search Engine Optimisation awareness, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Point of contact for all content and communications requirements and reporting on their effectiveness.

Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of content/copywriting experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in social media management.
  • Desirable: Passion for technology, GovCon markets and IT contracting.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of Hubspot, Wordpress, Linkedin Campaign Manager, Monday and other tools advantageous.

Required And Desired Skills

  • Strong written skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in copy editing and refining written materials.
  • Proficiency in using social media tools and gathering intelligence and forming hypothesis.
  • Familiarity with IT industry trends and innovations.
  • Passion for adopting AI-enabled platforms and tools.
  • Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative content ideas.
  • Amateur photography ability for social media purposes advantageous.
  • Analytical skills to interpret social media metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to adapt and pivot in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Portfolio showcasing successful social media management, social campaigns and content creation is a plus.
  • Experience managing agency partners
  • Experience managing content production for corporate events.
  • Experience managing website content/cms.
