Communications Manager

Are you a self-starter who likes to write news articles and create newsletters, talking points, and video scripts? If so, BCT-LLC seeks a highly motivated Communications Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will proactively and independently recommend communication tactics and develop the content for those tactics. As the communicator on this new project, you'll have the opportunity to create ideas and various communication products and see them through from start to finish, communicating the modernization and transformation efforts of the Mission Services Directorate. You will be charged with telling the story in various ways - articles, newsletters, videos, email - you may even have the recommendation to enhance the storytelling. This team allows you to think outside the box and creatively develop various materials. This position requires a current Top Secret SCI, and the candidate must be willing to sit for a CI Polygraph. The customer supports a hybrid working environment, three days onsite (Joint base Anacostia Bolling) and two days teleworking.

What you will do:

• The candidate will attend meetings, develop and brief tactical communications plans and products, coordinate graphics and write video scripts, and support engagement activities. Additionally, tactical-level communication skills, specifically in writing, and rapid response times on leadership deliverables are critical.
• Must have experience writing news articles, creating and updating newsletters, and planning communications and/or execution.
• Experience developing and implementing communications strategies and managing communications efforts for implementations; solid understanding of communication methodologies and principles with the ability to define a flexible, unique approach based on the business need and working environment.

Education Qualifications: A bachelor's degree and at least seven-ten years of relevant experience.
