The Opportunity
The Communications Manager has a critical role within the Workhuman Consulting Practice's Strategy & Consulting team, supporting our largest Global and Strategic customers' programs ongoing success by creating communication strategies and tactics to inspire growth and sustainability while embedding recognition and performance development into the DNA of the company.
This role is a blend of hands-on strategies and content development, working with Workhuman customer-facing teams and Global & Strategic customers' internal communication managers. Closely collaborating with the team's Strategic Client Directors, consultants and production artists, the Communications Manager supports customers' internal, employee communication and training campaigns to promote continued program adoption, growth, Workhuman Cloud applications and increased investment.
This role also works in close partnership with all areas of Workhuman's Customer Strategy team, providing consultation and direct support to drive program adoption through innovative, effective communications approaches for our most strategic customers.

What we can offer you
As a Communications Manager, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with operational consultants, production artists and internal or agency design partners in creating high-quality, engaging content for current and future customers to support the adoption and ongoing success of our Workhuman® Cloud programs. This includes:
- Developing high-quality, compelling written and visual communications and training content to be used in support of our customers' program ongoing campaigns in the form of presentations, emails, newsletter/intranet articles, user guides, screencasts, print/digital assets, and promotional collateral.
- Managing and building a customer resource library of communications and training materials, ensuring content is well organized and assets reflect the latest product enhancements and innovative communication approaches.
- Serving as a subject matter expert in employee communications, sharing ideas and expertise to further progressive, innovative thinking within Workhuman and with customers that reflects industry trends and ongoing product evolution.
- Developing and executing communications plans and facilitating project meetings to guide customers through their program launches, refreshes, and ongoing promotional campaigns.
The skills and experience you will bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, English, or Journalism preferred
- 4-6 years professional experience in an internal, employee-facing communications role or consulting role specializing in employee and/or HR communications
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute large-scale, internal communications plans in support of company-wide initiatives
- Ability to manage multiple client projects at once, prioritize deliverables and meet all deadlines.
- Superior writing and editing skills with proven versatility in developing copy for various audiences and mediums
- Clear understanding of how to translate data and concepts into compelling visuals
- Self-starter with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines and work in a dynamic, fast-paced, team environment
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Word
