Summary
- This position sits within the Global Communications and Brand Experience team, working to ensure overall brand alignment that follows departmental and Company strategy, and increases awareness, engagement and understanding for internal and external audiences.
- Builds and maintains solid partnerships with internal and external clients across all business groups, countries and audiences to develop supportive strategies, plan tactics, coordinate and direct content designed to meet Simplot's strategic and operational business goals.
- Develops and implements marketing or communications plans to support department and organizational objectives and creates marketing or communication content for internal and external audiences to communicate Company messages, policies, programs, projects or news.
- Designs internal or external marketing campaigns to target specific audiences, placing an emphasis on campaign data, metrics and performance to measure tactic impact and improve future campaigns.
- Works to create new and improve existing content processes, leveraging new technologies and insights, measurement tools and experience.
- Directs designers, photographers, videographers and other content specialists integral to the completion of projects tactics, ensuring the completed content furthers the campaign goals and objectives.
- Oversees assigned channels such as external social media or internal collaboration platforms to grow and maintain the channels, developing tactical activities to grow user base and improve content engagement. This work is performed in partnership with relevant business stakeholders, ensuring a cohesive, holistic approach that helps deliver an omni-channel experience for users.
- Makes content decisions and approves internal and external communication deliverables, and edits and reviews content for accuracy and completeness.
- Builds brand awareness and alignment and promotes overall consistency of company messages.
- Stays informed of developments in the field of marketing and communications within the industry to foster ideas and innovation and teaches others in the department about those advancements.
