Job Description
Reporting to the Global Head of Communications, this is an exciting opportunity to lead on
both internal communications strategy and change management communications for Unilabs the Netherlands, supporting and advising senior leadership, including the Managing Director.
Accountabilities
Change Management
· Lead the communications workstream in support of the overarching change strategy including stakeholder analysis, narrative development, communication strategy/plan and leadership action plan.
· Work with the cross-functional project team to identify and develop solutions for complex project issues, partnering closely on communications deliverables according to the project plan.
· Support the Country Leadership team including messaging, presentations, blogs etc.
· Identify methods and measure the effectiveness of the communications, setting targets and tracking results to continuously improve.
Strategy and Planning
· Develop and implement a holistic internal communications strategy, an overarching evidence-based narrative and supporting plans/campaigns that will engage employees with the company Vision, Purpose, Priorities and Strategy.
· Work closely with the Country Leadership Team to understand business objectives/strategic priorities and desired outcomes and develop and deliver, communications strategies to support them.
· Measurement and evaluation of all internal channels.
Business Partnering
· Provide strategic counsel, advice and coaching to the Country Leadership Team, advising them on visibility, messaging, tone of voice etc. Provide feedback on how communications are landing and play a key role in shaping both leadership behaviours and tone of voice.
· Develop content to support and bring to life business campaigns that are designed to drive engagement, behavioural and/or business outcomes.
· Bring the employer brand to life through a wide range of channels, campaigns and activities.
- Experience of managing internal communications and change communications in a global company
- Seasoned communications professional with extensive experience of operating and advising at the most senior level of a company.
- Thorough understanding of how communications can impact employees and influence their behaviours (and therefore the strengths and limitations of different channels and methodologies). In-depth knowledge of the range and variety of communications channels, platforms and processes to ensure effective and timely communication and engagement.
- Proven expertise in managing internal stakeholders and experience of how to work and influence senior management.
- First class written and verbal communications skills and the ability to distil complex issues and express them clearly, authoritatively and in a manner/style that engages audiences.
- Creative judgment, with the ability to implement campaigns and activities that get cut through.
- Understanding of how to work closely with HR and how to optimise the value of benefits of a close integrated approach to internal communications and employee engagement.
