Communications & Marketing Intern - Summer 2024

Position Summary

The Communications and Marketing Intern will play a key role in supporting content development and marketing initiatives while expanding Antora’s communications and marketing work to new areas, such as helping develop Antora’s event strategy and execution.

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Communications & Marketing Intern at Antora Energy, you will have the unique opportunity to work closely with our team on a variety of projects. Your internship project(s) can be tailored to your specific interests and ability to work onsite. Your key responsibilities may include:

• Draft external and internal communications materials, including thought leadership materials and social media content
• Help develop Antora’s strategy for conferences and events, including leading the creation of effective event marketing materials
• Develop content and support marketing initiatives that advance Antora’s business development and sales objectives
• Support the implementation of Antora’s visual identity, communications, and brand across key internal and external stakeholders
• Create briefing materials to prepare Antora leadership and team members for external opportunities
• Improve and refine systems to ensure that Antora’s communications and marketing team operates efficiently and effectively 

Key Qualifications 

• Enrollment: Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, an undergraduate or graduate program in a relevant field
• Mission: Strong motivation to address climate change through the work we do at Antora
• Curiosity and Learning: A strong desire to learn new concepts and methodologies and work collaboratively with mentor(s) to achieve common goals
• Communication: Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills
• Interpersonal Skills: Empathy, sensitivity, and ability to effectively interact with a broad and diverse range of colleagues
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to think critically about information to solve problems
• Excellent planning and organizational skills and multitasking abilities to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects
• Comfortable adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Keen eye for detail, ensuring all content is strategic, on-brand, and valuable to our audiences
• Self-motivated, resourceful, results-driven, and deadline-oriented

Internship Dates

• Group 1: Monday, June 3rd - Friday, August 9th
• Group 2: Monday, June 17th - Friday, August 30th

Hourly Pay Range

• $35 - $45 USD
