Communications Specialist

Position Purpose: The Communications Specialist will work closely with internal departments and the Communications department to support the development, production and execution of provider communication materials.

Develop and execute provider communications including, but not limited to:Brochures

Letters

Web copy

Digital Newsletters

Manuals

Presentations

Mailings

Ensure content meets marketing guidelines and compliance regulations.

Manage quarterly provider collateral orders.

Serve as the liaison between the company and third party vendors to fulfill internal collateral and promotional requests while adhering to delivery deadlines.

Maintain organization and updates to internal software programs for communication material submissions, including the Communications Request Form (CRF).

Support the communications department with ad hoc requests and projects as needed.

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Graphic Design, related field or equivalent experience. 2+ years of communications and graphic design experience. Proficient in InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office applications.

Desired Skills

• Strong writing/editing/proofreading background (must have examples of work to be considered).
• Experience in marketing/communications (in-house or agency).
• Exceptional organizational, time management and project management skills.
• Proven ability to multi-task, shift focus on-demand and re-prioritize as-needed, while meeting stringent deadlines. Previous experience in a fast-paced environment a plus.
• Adapts quickly in an environment prone to change and has the ability to pivot and shift on-demand.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in healthcare/compliance regulations a PLUS or experience with quality assurance guidelines and brand standards.
