Keeper is hiring a Communications Specialist to join our global communications team. This individual will work on both internal and external communications, growing brand awareness, promoting a positive public image, and controlling the dissemination of information on Keeper’s behalf. This can be a 100% remote position!

About the Job

Join an elite team of highly skilled powerhouses and play a pivotal role in being a voice for Keeper. An individual in this role will need strong communication and copywriting skills, the ability to distill technical information into plain language, and a clear understanding of the media and social media landscapes. You must be a self-starter who is excited to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Want to develop corporate communication goals and strategies
  • Are excited about creating communications plans for announcements and events
  • Excel at managing internal communications including memos and newsletters
  • Can draft content including press releases and media advisories
  • Love developing, writing and managing social media content
  • Organize initiatives and plan events or press conferences
  • Can liaise with the media and handle requests for interviews, statements etc.
  • Are able to foster relationships with journalists and analysts
  • Are passionate about collaborating with the marketing team to produce copy for advertisements, articles, etc.
  • Can perform “damage control” in cases of bad publicity
  • Want to assist in communication of strategies and messages from senior leadership
  • Bring hands on experience in managing editorial, event and other planning calendars
  • Can track and develop analytical reports of media and social media performance

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in PR, communications or media
  • Ability to distill complicated information into plain language
  • Experience with social media content production
  • Experience in copywriting and editing
  • Understanding and awareness of basic cybersecurity concepts
  • Outstanding organizational and planning abilities
  • Ability to engage with other functional areas and manage initiatives to completion
  • Proficient command of the English language (written and spoken)

Preferred Requirements:

  • BSc/BA in public relations, communications or relevant field
  • Experience working in the cybersecurity industry
