Job Description

As a Communicator at heart, you're bringing your passion and skills to our Talent Sustainability process. You'll be promoting the value of working for Bosch to help us attract great candidates and retain associates who fit our culture and support our mission. Reach and engage associates and candidates on a human level through a variety internal and external communication channels by storytelling. You think strategically about channels and messaging, roll up your sleeves to execute campaigns and programs and track and measure everything.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES (*denotes essential functions as defined by ADA)

  • Develops and implements a communication strategy for the Charleston location on an annual basis
  • Execute on the broader associate communications & engagement strategy and work with the Human Resources and leadership team to provide ideas, insight, and input into this plan
  • Content creation and management of internal communication outlets including but not limited to: Communication monitor visuals, weekly Newsletters, ChP quarterly Magazine, Bosch Connect Speakers Corner, etc.
  • Manages Bosch Charleston private Social Media group, Bosch Connect site & Bosch Global Network site
  • Crisis Management Team member and Athoc communication lead

· Collaborates and executes on digital, social, search, email and event marketing and advertising strategies to create awareness of our employer brand and to help generate talent pipelines for key talent needs, in alignment with HR and Communication COEs, Talent Acquisition Partner, etc.

  • Flyers, brochures, billboards, ads, etc.
  • Project based work
  • Lead communication and education the Employer Value Proposition for the site

· Develops internal employee-related campaigns materials and content for events related to talent acquisition communications.

  • Support and counsel leaders on internal communications strategies that will help them achieve their business goals
  • Lead on feedback tools
  • Focus on retention and engagement of associates via frequent communication cascades, skip level meetings, stay interviews, team workshops, etc.
  • Maintains CSR budget and builds relationship with local recipients
  • Sponsorship Management and external working groups
  • Bosch Community Fund Site Liaison
  • Plans and supports external community events (ex. American Heart Association Heart Walk, Breast Cancer Walk, STEMersion, STEM Fest, etc.)
  • Coordination with Human Resources on on-boarding process
  • Coordination of associate recognition projects
  • Coordination of service awards
  • Preparing expense reports, purchase requisitions, etc. related to the above topics

  • All levels of the organization – international and corporate stakeholders, plant leadership, and plant associates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Business, Communication, etc.)
  • Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years’ Communications, Marketing, or closly related experience
  • Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing to all levels in the organization
  • Graphic design, photography, videography
  • Strong computer skills required; specifically, experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Able to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
  • Must be an open and honest communicator across all levels of the organization
  • Collaborative working skills and positive attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Must be a self-starter with strong initiative and the ability to work independently
  • Ability to prioritize a high volume of topics to meet deadline
  • Must be patient, energetic, creative, and flexible as work demands including switching projects or tasks at a moment’s notice
  • Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure
