Required Skills:

  • At least 7 years of experience in providing professional assistance and support to Administration in the planning, design, development, and management of strategic, at times sensitive, communication projects and initiatives.
  • Experience utilizing digital platforms to expand networks, increase visibility, and facilitate meaningful engagements with potential employers.
  • Experience in public relations, volunteer management and special projects and events coordination and management
  • Experience in database management, word processing, spreadsheet, and/or presentation software.
  • Knowledge of communication principles, media, and public relations techniques.
  • Knowledge of research principles, methods, and resources.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret intellectual information and to develop accurate and descriptive abstracts and summaries.
  • Knowledge of media production and publishing principles and processes.
  • Ability to plan, develop, and coordinate multiple projects and events.
  • Knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SEO Tools
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining connections with government agencies, industry professionals, and relevant organizations to enhance the business growth.
  • Leveraging digital platforms to expand OCCS network, increase visibility, and facilitate meaningful engagements with potential employers.
  • Develop strategies to enhance brand awareness and drive online presence. Use analytics tools to monitor, refine, and assess outreach effectiveness.
  • Employ SEO tactics to boost online visibility and utilize CRM systems and digital tools to generate and manage employer relationships, and ensure effective outreach by using LinkedIn and other professional platform, for target audience.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with HR professionals and talent acquisition teams to identify placement opportunities. Organize virtual and in-person visits and presentations with companies, representing the placement team to understand and address their hiring needs.
  • Utilize a variety of software programs including clerical/administrative software (word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software);
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare budgetary information and research and prepare reports;
  • Plan and organize projects and events, ability to express ideas clearly and accurately;
  • Collect, summarize, and present detailed information;
  • Expediently create published works such as guides, fliers, online media content, and brochures;
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing;
  • Operate design software and create graphics;
  • Implement, and communicate a cohesive promotional campaign;
  • Work flexible hours including evenings and weekends;
  • Establish and maintain productive working relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders, City, State, and other officials, associates, and the general public.
