Communications & Engagement Specialist

Alight's Professional Services team partners with clients to enable organizational transformation through the deployment and support of Software as a Service (SaaS)-based solutions. As a Communications & Engagement Specialist, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders, including consulting, sales, solutions, and leadership teams to develop engaging and informative content to support each of these teams. This role will be charged with planning, developing, and implementing colleague engagement activities and broader communications. This role will play an integral role helping to bring together our colleagues with two-way communication methods.

A typical day can include the following:

• Establishing a comprehensive strategy for internal communications ensuring that activities and content align with company culture and strategic business direction working closely with the Engagement Council and Leadership Team.
• Developing content for Professional Services organization using methods including website, Microsoft Teams, emails, videos, and town halls.
• Partnering with stakeholders to gather key messages, themes, and content for engagement activities and communications.
• Monitoring progress of tasks against communications plan and communicating status updates on key deliverables.
• Participating in internal Alight initiatives to support innovation and enable continuous career growth.

You bring knowledge and expertise:

• Clear and articulate oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work and learn independently as well as on a team
• Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and methodologies
• Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines
• Accept and adapt to change, and understand that change is constant and necessary to consistently excel
• Desire to grow your career in communications
• Experience with MS Office Suite programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• WordPress experience is preferred

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of prior work experience or master's or professional degree

Virtual with optional office locations in Charlotte, NC, Miami (Doral), FL, Atlanta, GA, The Woodlands, TX, or Lincolnshire, IL

Pay Transparency Statement: Alight takes into consideration a candidate's experience, education, certification/credentials, market data, internal equity, and geography when determining an offer for a successful employment candidate, and Alight does so on an individualized, non-discriminatory basis. Therefore, an offer may fall anywhere between the estimated minimum base salary for this role of $65,600.00/year (for full time employees) and the estimated maximum base salary for this role of $162,400.00/year (for full-time employees).
