Community and Outreach Coordinator

The Outreach and Programming Coordinator will be responsible for the overall coordination of meaningful programming and community connections throughout the Aspire Living & Learning community. This position will be integral in building community relationships and working with Aspire leadership to develop purposeful programs for supported individuals.

Community Connections:

The Outreach and Programming Coordinator will actively work towards developing relationships in the various Aspire communities. Relationship and partnerships could include churches, community leaders, businesses and other community groups. The goal will be to identify opportunities for supported individuals’ to be active in their respective communities through volunteer prospects, diverse activities, clubs and other community opportunities to name a few.

Program Development:

The Outreach and Programming Coordinator will work closely with Aspire leadership to develop meaningful program opportunities for supported individuals. The coordinator will actively be involved in providing and organizing group activities based on the collective needs of operations. These opportunities and partnerships will be integral to inclusive and person-centered programming. The coordinator will regularly track engagement, sharing information with Aspire program leaders. Tracking and reporting of community connections will be essential for ongoing program development and improvement.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or 3+ years in related field
• Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, reliable vehicle, and vehicle insurance
• Strong verbal and written communication skills a must   
• 18 years of age or older  
• Excellent interpersonal and organizations skills  
• Accept reassignment as required
