Community Development Coordinator
Job Description
Diversified Communications is seeking a Community Development Coordinator to join our growing company! This position is responsible for identifying, building, and sustaining relationships with energy buyers for all Smart Energy Decision (SED) events. This is an outbound role that requires the ability to manage the full lifecycle of bringing buyers to a hosted buyer event. You must find prospects who are a fit for our events, connect with them, deliver a compelling value proposition to secure an application and then help onboard them once they're approved to ensure they receive the right level of value at our events and meetings. The goal is on increasing number of qualified buyers at SED events through new buyer and partnership recruitment.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Work closely with team on developing tactics toachieve buyer and partnership goals
- Research new prospects using communication channels such as telemarketing, social media, email, etc.
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships to drive new buyer recruitment
- Convert hosted buyer leads into confirmed hosted buyers
- Assist with development and implementation of tactics to increase verification rate
- Responsible for list development along with data integrity (data cleaning and entry)
- Provide exceptional customer service to new and existing buyersbefore, during and after the event
- Onboarding buyers into the 1:1 program pre-event
- Work with marketing and product teams to enhance buyer experience at events (to increase buyer retention and satisfaction)
- Provide feedback to marketing and sales team on key buyer experience and gather testimonials for promotional marketing purposes
Skills & Qualifications:
Knowledge: BA/BS required with degree in marketing, communication, customer service or related discipline; Experience in social media marketing; Understanding of B2B marketing; Knowledge of e-mail marketing, lead generation tactics and sales tactics. Past experience in hosted buyer event model is a plus.
Skills: Stronginterpersonal and customer service skills, excellent oral and writtencommunication skills, ability to make cold calls. Proficiency in MS Office; Salesforce,
Abilities: Build and nurture strategic relationships with potential buyers and partners. Ability to work independently and with others across departments. Proactive, able to multi-task in a deadline driven, goal-oriented environment. Detailed-oriented and organized.
Travel will be required!
