Job Description

Community Engagement Coordinator -- Job Description

Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt
Level: Associate
Location: Minneapolis Metro, Minnesota
Compensation: Starting $55,000, dependent on experience

Who we are:

At Herself Health, we're on a mission to help women get more life out of life, together. We are building a new model of primary care for women 65+ to solve long-standing problems: rushed appointments, long wait times, and care that's generalized rather than specialized towards women’s needs later in life such as post-menopausal care, bone density, weight management, and mental, social and emotional well-being.

Our patient-centric Primary Care clinics are dispersed across Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN. We are thrilled to serve the Twin Cities metro in our clinics located in Highland Park (St. Paul), Crystal, Lyndale (Minneapolis), Rosedale, and Eagan opening soon. Our team of 100+ colleagues is on a mission to innovate the primary care landscape for women 65+. We’re seeking like-minded individuals who share in this passion to join us!

About you:

As we grow our early team, we are seeking strategic thought leaders who have a passion for building and innovating. We foster a culture of collaboration, excellence and the willingness to roll up our sleeves and learn as we grow. We have a customer first mindset, and we are looking for team members who share that. Our ideal candidates have strategic processes and the ability to use data to build best practices and implement great ideas in collaboration with our team and our community.

About the Community Engagement Coordinator Role:

The Community Engagement Coordinator is a highly organized and energetic member of our Community Growth team, focused on expanding the brand of Herself Health through innovative patient acquisition initiatives. This role will be responsible for the seamless execution of various internal and external events, overseeing our clinic event calendars and being an enthusiastic brand ambassador for Herself Health. We are looking for a highly adaptable individual who can effectively manage change, demonstrating flexibility and resilience in a dynamic work environment.  Additionally, this role will maintain up-to-date event information in our CRM system and ensure patient leads are effectively captured and followed up on.

Must-have Qualifications and Skills:

  • 5+ years' experience in sales, business development or customer service facing roles
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with an ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups
  • Proven attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality event execution
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as required for events

Nice-to-have Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in event coordination and management
  • Bachelor's degree in event management, marketing, business administration, or a related field
  • Experience in healthcare-related event management or community outreach
  • Familiarity with Medicare/insurance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
