Summary:

This role is responsible for increasing company visibility, capturing target segments, developing ongoing relationships with regional community leaders, and serving as a community symbol for brand recognition. The incumbent initiates contacts for the purpose of developing sales leads, new business development, and potential partnerships with agencies that serve the local community.

Essential Accountabilities:

• Develops and builds relationships with political leaders, community-based agency leaders, providers, brokers, and employers for the purpose of capturing appropriate segment audiences and to strengthen brand message and awareness.

• Educates Employer groups on health insurance products and services and identifies opportunities to channel this business to the appropriate sales organization with the goal of transitioning enrollment into these programs.

• Investigates and initiates cross sell product opportunities to ensure larger membership growth. Forwards any sales leads to appropriate sales team to "close the deal".

• Works in close collaboration with Sales, Safety Net, Medicare, Marketing, Corporate Communications, Community Investments, Regional Presidents, and Medical Benefits Management to identify and evaluate membership growth opportunities. Gathers customer insight and competitive intelligence and provides documented insight to coordinate efforts leading to marketing advantage.

• Responsible for capturing target segments that are responsive to outreach marketing with Sales team to increase market share.

• Works in conjunction with Corporate Communications and Community Investments to support current companywide events and member communications in given region within NY.

• Seeks to improve overall operational efficiencies and eliminate redundancies or missed opportunities in internal processes between departments. Identifies and breaks down barriers to membership continuity as members move from one product to another.

• Develops familiarity with products/packages of competitors and their sales strategies.

• Attends product training programs and re-training programs as required to maintain knowledge of major product lines.

• Consistently demonstrates high standards of integrity by supporting the Lifetime Healthcare Companies' mission and values, adhering to the Corporate Code of Conduct, and leading to the Lifetime Way values and beliefs.

• Maintains high regard for member privacy in accordance with the corporate privacy policies and procedures.

• Regular and reliable attendance is expected and required.

• Performs other functions as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Eight or more years of experience in healthcare community outreach (ex. educational event planning; enrollment coordination; public presentations) or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with Marketing, Statistics, or Liberal Arts and 3 or more years of community outreach or business development experience.

• Knowledge of customer service, marketing, or Health Plan sales preferred.

• Proven ability to collect and analyze data.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills (including large group presentations) and the ability to interact with all levels of personnel effectively and professionally.

• Ability to adapt and respond to the diverse and unexpected situations normally encountered in marketing, outreach, and service occupations.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to travel across the Health Plan service region to target markets for meetings and/or trainings as needed.

• Ability to work prolonged periods sitting and/or standing at a workstation and working on a computer.

Salary Range:

The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the salary range for this position. Actual salary will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, budget available, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position's minimum qualifications, in additional to internal equity. The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package. Other components of the total rewards package may include participation in group health and/or dental insurance, retirement plan, wellness program, paid time away from work, and paid holidays.

Min: 55,400.00 - Max: 90,100.00
