Job Description

About Zipline

Do you want to change the world? Zipline is on a mission to transform the way goods move. Our aim is to solve the world's most urgent and complex access challenges by building, manufacturing and operating the first instant delivery and logistics system that serves all humans equally, wherever they are. From powering Rwanda's national blood delivery network and Ghana's COVID-19 vaccine distribution, to providing on-demand home delivery for Walmart, to enabling healthcare providers to bring care directly to U.S. homes, we are transforming the way things move for businesses, governments and consumers. The technology is complex but the idea is simple: a teleportation service that delivers what you need, when you need it. Through our technology that includes robotics and autonomy, we are decarbonizing delivery, decreasing road congestion, and reducing fossil fuel consumption and air pollution, while providing equitable access to billions of people and building a more resilient global supply chain.

Join Zipline and help us to make good on our promise to build an equitable and more resilient global supply chain for billions of people.

The Role

As a Community Impact Strategist, you'll own the mission of building and strengthening Zipline's presence in Dallas. You'll act as a trusted partner to local governments, civic organizations, businesses, and schools, shaping a community narrative around Zipline's transformative technology. You won't just build relationships-you'll drive action.

Your insights will directly influence how we engage with the community, ensuring our operations align with local needs while accelerating adoption of our services. This is a fast-paced, high-impact role that blends strategy, communication, and on-the-ground execution.

This role is based in Dallas, Texas, with travel required across the metroplex.

What You'll Do

  • Strategize and execute engagement plans: Develop and implement initiatives that build trust and excitement around Zipline's mission.
  • Build meaningful partnerships: Establish relationships with local leaders, from government officials to community influencers, driving support for Zipline's operations.
  • Lead community outreach efforts: Represent Zipline at events, host discussions, and ensure stakeholders understand the societal and economic value we bring.
  • Gather and act on feedback: Serve as the community's voice within Zipline, influencing our messaging and strategy.
  • Amplify Zipline's presence: Create and execute grassroots campaigns to extend awareness and love for our brand.

Why You'll Love This Job

  • Mission-Driven Work: Be at the forefront of transforming logistics, creating real impact for communities.
  • Dynamic Environment: Engage with diverse groups and take on varied challenges daily.
  • Growth Opportunities: Join a fast-growing company with significant potential for personal and professional development.

What You'll Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in community engagement, public affairs, grassroots organizing, or equivalent roles.
  • Exceptional communication skills-comfortable presenting to diverse audiences and crafting compelling narratives.
  • A proactive mindset, with a proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive initiatives independently.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally for meetings and events.
  • Must be local to Dallas or open to relocating (relocation assistance available).
