Valantis opens the design space of exchanges beyond what is possible in any other framework. Our mission is to keep onchain liquidity as competitive and accessible as possible using the Valantis Protocol as our foundation. Valantis Labs aims to preserve the founding properties of DeFi amongst ongoing paradigm shifts.

Why does that matter?

It is not easy to build or launch a DEX. Beyond the redundancy and security risks of writing smart contract protocols bootstrapping adoption for a DEX is historically difficult not purely dependent on merit or efficiency and overall costly. We want to commoditize the DEX stack to a point where merit and efficiency are the main drivers for liquidity and order flow. This entails:

• Lowering the developer entry cost to introduce new DEX designs.

• Commoditize order flow through Valantis-specific collaborative Solvers and Solver network integrations making Valantis pools maximally discoverable.

• Innovative DEX designs accommodating a changing order flow and liquidity provision landscape.

• Creating secure end-user products that offer attractive financial strategies without complexity built on top of the Valantis Protocol.

• Building off chain infrastructure that extends the properties of onchain finance.

Valantis is seeking a proactive and self-driven individual to spearhead our community engagement efforts as our Community and Content Lead. This role requires a blend of technical understanding community management skills and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write long form and short form content about novel DEX implementations on the Valantis protocol’s framework.

• Manage and grow our Telegram and Discord communities serving as the primary point of contact for community members. Alternatively onboarding and managing Moderators for support.

• Manage twitter presence and content roadmap.

• Handle inbound requests for developer support and technical questions independently.

• Develop and execute Valantis quest campaigns to increase Discord engagement. Facilitate community generated content through contests and rewarding engagement.

• Create blog and Twitter content demonstrating a strong ability to communicate Valantis's technical products effectively.

• Monitor and improve key metrics including Discord engagement community sentiment and participation in quests.

• Explore and implement new tools for community gamification and engagement including Discord and Telegram bots.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Deep understanding of DeFi including hands-on experience using DeFi protocols and engaging with DeFi communities.

• Terminally online and loves talking to people.

• Ability to grasp write about and explain complex technical concepts related to DeFi smart contract protocol architectures.

• Previous experience as a moderator or respected community member of an established DeFi protocol is a plus.

• Self-motivated individual excited about working at the forefront of onchain exchange technology.

• Excellent communication skills with a track record of frequent and effective team interactions.

• Availability to cover Asian time zones (UTC+7 and beyond).

• Multilingual skills or experience working with international communities is a plus.
