Community Manager
Job Description
TULA is looking for an experienced team member to assist in daily execution of our organic social media & content strategy end-to-end in support of our brand vision & business goals. You will be working in a fast-paced, creative environment that offers an opportunity to be part of building a rapidly growing brand. This role is on the Brand Marketing team reporting to the Social & Content Manager & is remote.Â
Key Responsibilities
- Grow & moderate TULA’s online community of Glow Getters
- Partner with Customer Experience team to ensure customer help requests via social platforms are handled in a timely, on-brand manner
- Plan, develop, and coordinate approval of the always-on organic content calendar on a quarterly and/or monthly basis; includes creation of social media copy and briefing in creative teams based on program strategy, social media & audience insights
- Partner with cross-functional teams to create campaigns for brand priorities, promotions, events, and launches that drive awareness & conversion
- Own scheduling & publishing content across Instagram, Twitter & Facebook
- Conceptualize & produce dynamic video content for both organic & paid social channels—acting as an on-camera personality in partnership with a team of other in house creators
- Own monthly and quarterly social media reporting, providing insights and implications about content performance, consumer audience/ behaviors on social, competitor insights & best in class industry examples which further help drive brand social media strategy and increase engagement
- Act as a Social Media expert at TULA, keeping the team up-to-date with changes in ecosystem, current best practices, and trend
Qualifications
- 1-3+ years of direct social media experience - beauty & /or direct to consumer brand experience preferred
- Must be willing to post & monitor communities after-hours, weekends & holidays
- Must be willing to be on-camera talent for both photo & video—main responsibility of role
- Must be an expert in creating content and building a community on TikTok
- Impeccable written communication skills
- Elevated creative eye & aesthetic with skills in photo, video & design preferred
- Experience with social media tools like Dash Hudson is a plus
- Will to travel to NYC for shoots & team meetings as needed
- Ability to execute content using tools like iPhone photography, iMovie / Final Cut Pro, adobe photoshop, Sketch, etc.
- Impeccable organization & attention to detail
- Thrives in a fast-paced, team-centric environment & is a self-starter
- Loves pop-culture, skincare, health &/or wellness & has a strong pulse on industry trendsÂ
- Has a sense of humorÂ
