Job Description
OLIVER is a global marketing agency that exclusively designs, builds and runs bespoke in-house agencies and marketing ecosystems for brands. Our skilled creative talents are dedicated to high-profile clients and are based either onsite, near-site, or offsite in our hubs. Â
We are looking for a proactive and creative Community Manager to build engaged communities for some of the biggest brands in the country. You will be a doer as much as a thinker, able to come up with the funniest tweet response one minute and concept your own Instagram story the next. This role requires you to constantly engage with consumers and audiences, look for trends and insights, and actively monitor and analyze competitors' social media platforms. You will represent the brand's voice, monitor conversations, post content, and manage the daily operations of various social challenges. Â
Our ideal candidate will consistently bring best-in-class recommendations to our client’s brand team, while proactively working with internal colleagues and key client stakeholders to develop, implement, track, and optimize content across each social platform. Â
What you will be doing:Â- Help build, grow, and manage online communities for our client’s key consumer brands
- Social listening for conversations, topics, trends that brands can engage in
- Develop community strategy, engagement, and growth plan
- Identify and track relevant community data metrics/develop monthly reporting and outline key insights
- Entertain people with your writing across different tones of voice
- Produce and execute creative ideas daily
- Keep up to date with the latest social trends & tools and bringing fresh ideas on how to use them
- Create timely and culturally relevant content optimized for each platform and audience
- Monitoring platforms for content opportunities and initiating conversations
- Champion creativity and deliver excellent customer experiences though content planning
- Work closely with the onsite studio to develop best in class content
- Partner with the client’s media agency to understand campaign performance and opportunities to optimize creative
- Manage and review the work of creators to ensure consistent processes are followed
- Act as the brand guardian to ensure all work produced is faithful to the client’s brand guidelines
- Adoption and use of the brand’s voice – responding to and engaging with the user community
- Work closely with the SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Manager to understand insights that may be discovered SEO reports and monitoring
- Develop social media content calendar
- Repost paid advertising and influencer content to owned pages
- Work with CRC (Consumer Response Center) and pass on/escalate consumers that require CRC attention
- 3+ years of experience in social media or community managementÂ
- 3+ years of experience working in an advertising agency
- Experience using analytical/social listening tools for reporting and to gather insightsÂ
- Experience growing and engaging a community and building a significant follower base on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedInÂ
- Passion for delivering on-brand and on-brief social communicationsÂ
- Pro-active planning and leadership of creative community initiativeÂ
- Practical knowledge of how to manage social media channels especially with their intricaciesÂ
- A thirst to learn more and to discover new and exciting trends within the social spaceÂ
- Ability to manage and filter workflow and prioritize workloads to maximize productivity
- Understanding of how to integrate with a client-side team whilst maintaining a top-tier agency serviceÂ
- Ability to learn and understand consumer experience with client’s products/services/promotionsÂ
- Expertise in brand safety on social platformsÂ
- Great sense of humor and creativity yet serious mindedÂ
- Content creation skills (blogs, tweets, gifs, memes/other visuals)Â
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skillsÂ
- Ability to recognize superior design and maintain a consistent aestheticÂ
- Excellent interpersonal and follow up skillsÂ
- Strong written and verbal communication skillsÂ
- Knowledge of consumer-packaged goods
