Community Manager Resident (Instagram)

Gallery Media Group is a rapidly growing digital media company whose mission is to “make positivity louder.” Its three key sectors include: 

• Media + Publishing: PureWow, a women’s lifestyle brand; ONE37pm, a men’s lifestyle brand at the intersection of culture, music, NFTs and sports; and social-born brands such as @recipes, @cocktails, @moms
• Social Portfolio: 50+ owned + operated accounts across TikTok, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest, including running TikTok accounts for brand partners
• Talent and Influencer Arm: Strategy and activations ranging from celebrity partnerships and stunts to year long ambassadorships and campaign work across platforms and categories 

We are looking for an entry level Community Manager to join the ONE37pm team in a resident position.

About You: The ideal candidate is passionate about being part of a community, creating a community, understands internet & meme culture, and stays up-to-date on social platform strategy. 

We’re looking for a community manager who will oversee Instagram for ONE37pm and manage the day-to-day operations of that channel. You will work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate has proven experience thriving in a time-constrained setting. This is an opportunity to be an active member of the ONE37pm community, and you will need to stay abreast of the latest memes, trending topics, and more. This is an exciting, high intensity position that contributes greatly to the storytelling of the ONE37pm brand. The role will report directly to the Platform Strategist.

Primary Responsibilities / Qualifications

• Able to gather community insights and report them back to your team
• Demonstrate an active use of social media as well as an understanding of the social web
• Ability to analyze data/metrics and create reports and provide feedback on the needs of the community
• Able to brainstorm and strategize social media initiatives based on client goals
• Comfortable giving constructive feedback while being empathetic towards the creators.
• Extremely organized, and able to juggle and manage multiple projects at a time
• Able to foster conversations with consumers and fans across social platforms
• Have a strong pulse on what is currently happening on the platform from a content and trends perspective.

More specific:

• Engage 1:1 with users and fans via comments, stories, DMs and channels.
• Schedule content, push out across Instagram
• Clear understanding of platform best-practices
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere CC or Final Cut Pro and Photoshop

Salary: $17.00 per hour

Temp to Perm: This is a temporary position with an anticipated length of 3-6 months, with potential to be considered for a full-time role upon completion of the residency period.You must be able to commit to a full-time work schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday during business hours of 9am-6pm.
