In conjunction with the Managing Editor, Health, they engage with existing audiences and develop emerging audiences by raising the profile of and engagement with Script’s products across all platforms. The Community Manager is a critical link between Script’s content and how it drives impact and connects to the world at large. The Community Manager also occasionally coordinates with marketing, sales, and other departments on joint initiatives to move Script’s strategy forward.

  • The person in this role is responsible for developing and enforcing rigorous protocols designed to shield marginalized voices from harassment and bad-faith actors, ensuring that digital platforms associated with Script remain a fortress for authentic expression. Beyond oversight, this individual will provide proactive moderation across sensitive health topics—including sexual health, mental health, and gender-affirming care—to maintain a space that is as inclusive as it is secure.
