Our Field Operations team in Springfield, MAΒ is seeking a Community Outreach Associate to facilitate services on-site with our clients, community partners, and healthcare providers. If you are a caring, dedicated individual who possesses strong communication skills and a true desire to help others, this is the position for you!
Do you have a strong bias for action and getting out into the community seeking to assist the client or the team? Are you reliable and always showing up just a little bit early? Are you someone who really enjoys talking and communicating with others? Do you thrive working in a dynamic team environment?
In this role, you will interact with BLP members, counselors, medical providers, and community members of the local recovery community. You will facilitate the administration of group therapy meetings. You will ensure that the daily regular operations of the program are running smoothly and on time. Your important work will allow clients to receive quality care in their communities in order to make a better life within reach.
Responsibilities for Community Outreach Associate include, but are not limited to:
- Demonstrating and communicating the core values of Better Life Partners
- Preparing Better Life Partners sites early to set up for meetings
- Greeting clients and instructing them through the check-in process
- Teaming closely with the Member Services staff on questions or new information
- Packing up meeting sites and heading to the next one
- Providing community outreach and information
- Participating in recruitment and training of other field staff associates
- Assisting and maintaining documentation of meetings, events, and functions
- Regular travel within the state of Maine
Qualifications for a Community Outreach Associate:
- A passion to work in a healthcare field
- 1+ year(s) experience in MAT program, preferred
- Willingness and eagerness to learn, be flexible and assist office staff as needed
- Excellent time management and reliability
- Exceptionally strong work ethic
- Team player with an βall hands on deckβ attitude, organized/able to multitask
- Valid driver's license, access to your own means of reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
- Individuals with experience in recovery coaching are strongly encouraged to apply
