Job Summary
The Program Manager for Zone 1 would be responsible for building strong sustainable relationships with new stakeholders in the community, i.e. Director of Recreation Centers, Libraries, Government Offices, Council persons, to name a few; while still maintain relationships that were developed before them. Zone 1 area covers the following zip codes 44103, 44104, 44108, 44110 and 44112. These zip codes are surround around the CCF Main campus area; which would be considered low income and underserved populations. It will be the responsibility of the Program Manager to find creative ways to engage the community in a way that they are encouraged to sign up for cancer screenings. The Program Manager should have some experience working in the community. The Program Manager must be flexible with their time. Working weekends and evenings are a must. Must be willing and able to drive to outreach events and some meetings. Excellent presentation skills. PM will do a lot of presenting to groups in the community about the importance of cancer screening. Also, being an advocate and a voice for those they do not or cannot speak up for themselves about affordability in getting a cancer screening.

This person will work in the community and at events. Willing to work evenings and weekends is a required.

Manages implementation and maintenance of designated programs. Plans, develops and maintains systems and procedures. Liaison between department and outside communities. Serves as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department. Participates in budgetary process.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Develops, implements, manages and maintains operational systems and activities.
  • Serves as a liaison with all levels of the organization and outside community.
  • Manages multiple priorities and projects with competing deadlines.
  • Allocates time to meet completion requirements. Serves as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.
  • Reviews and monitors adherence to Human Resources policies and corporate compliance procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field.


Certifications:
  • May be required for specific positions as per policy or regulation.


Complexity of Work:
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to take appropriate action in a stressful environment.
  • Demonstrated team, leadership, organizational and problem solving abilities.


Work Experience:
  • Three years of experience in systems training, project management.
  • Data analysis in healthcare setting preferred.
  • Offset: Associate's degree and five years of experience.
  • Offset: Master's degree and two years of experience.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in and with the City of Cleveland
  • Undergraduate degree
  • Strategy building
  • Experience in sales
  • Medical terminology understanding and knowledge


Personal Protective Equipment:
  • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
