Community Outreach Representative - Entry Level

Key Responsibilities:

• Community Engagement: Develop and nurture relationships with community leaders, local organizations, and residents to increase awareness and support for our initiatives.
• Event Representation: Represent the organization at community events, fairs, and outreach activities, sharing information about our programs and goals.
• Outreach Campaigns: Assist in planning and executing community outreach campaigns, setting up informational booths, and distributing promotional materials.
• Public Speaking: Conduct presentations to educate the public about our mission, goals, and services.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with the internal team to ensure outreach efforts align with organizational objectives.
• Data Tracking: Collect feedback and track community engagement to evaluate outreach effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Background: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field preferred. Experience in community outreach or public engagement is a plus.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse audiences.
• Interpersonal Abilities: Strong people skills and the ability to build rapport with community members and stakeholders.
• Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple events and outreach activities simultaneously.
