The Community Partnerships Manager is primarily responsible for creating and managing relationships with community-based organizations and local governments to build trust with local communities and support marketing and media events which generate sales leads and success. Objectives for this position will be rolled up to annual goals for Marketing and Community Partnerships.
Essential Job Functions
- Develop and manage relationships with community based organizations, and local government officials designed to drive lead generation and sales
- Develop and manage the strategy and planning of community engagement, community partnership events, press conferences with City Mayors, and significant special events for the organization
- Coordinate and organize efforts to represent the company favorably in the community and boost brand awareness
- Develop and initiate programs that promote good will and foster relationships with community leaders
- Schedule and manage staff to work events
- Analyze event performance and prepare metrics on attendance, leads generated, sales generated, cost per lead and cost per sale
- Ensure that community partnership leads and sales are properly entered and tracked in Salesforce, and that donations are promptly paid out when appropriate
Education/Experience
- Four-year college degree preferred
- Two yearsβ work experience in a community-based nonprofit, outreach, and/or event planning position highly preferred
- Writing and public speaking proficiency highly desirable
- Experience in developing community events is preferred
- Retail sales experience working the floor preferred, lead generation experience preferred
- Salesforce CRM experience is a plus
- Bilingual is a plus
- Must have a clean driving record (example, no DUI in the last five years), reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
