Community Program Manager
Job Description
Core to Figma's success - and heart - is our community! As we scale into new geographies and audiences, we're looking for a natural connector to help us nurture a community that supports our current customer base and helps us scale as our programs expand across the globe. You will play a strategic role in integrating community centered programs across Figma's business, showcasing business impact and thinking outside the box to create new programs that celebrate our customers expertise.
This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.
What you'll do at Figma:
- Create customer-centric programs that drive customer loyalty and retention
- Build deep relationships with cross functional partners to integrate community across the organization
- Identify opportunities to surprise, delight, and show our community members how much we value them
- Partner with global teams to establish program frameworks that scale in the regions
Some projects you could work on:
- Reinvigorating for the Figma User Group program alongside a global team of Figmates and customers
- Set the strategy for what real time community communications can look like (slack, discord, circle, etc.)
- Partner with internal teams to bring the Figma swag store to life around the globe
- Partner with the global community team to showcase business impact
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- 5-7 years of experience with 3+ years of relevant community marketing or marketing programs experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn complex ideas into easily understood concepts
- Passion about being a community and customer advocate. You understand why customer voices are so important and are eager to share those insights with the rest of the company and advocate for their needs.
- A strategic mindset and comfort navigating ambiguity
- An eye for creative problem solving - you're able to keep multiple initiatives organized, and are willing and eager to roll up your sleeves when needed
- Strong rapport-building skills with customers
- Strong program and project management skills
At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. We believe in hiring smart, curious people who are excited to learn and develop their skills. If you're excited about this role but your past experience doesn't align perfectly with the points outlined in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
