Job Description
As a Community Project Manager at SmartRent, you will act as the main point of contact for residents and property management staff during our product installation process. You will have the opportunity to coordinate with multiple teams across the company ensuring all projects are managed successfully and client needs are being met.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects and keep clients updated on our installation process and the full rollout of SmartRent’s solutions
- Establish and manage an engagement plan for your portfolio of clients
- Have regular conversations with clients to understand any pain points, as well as what will make their SmartRent experience successful
- Prioritize client needs/requests on an ongoing basis
- Work with the Field team to proactively plan schedules for onsite projects
- Constantly communicate and collaborate with Sales, Field Managers, Support, Product and Engineering teams - you will be the voice of the client
- Identify and task issues which require involvement from Engineering, General Contractors, and internal teams like Billing or Sales
- Lead community presentations to educate residents / staff on SmartRent’s technological offerings as needed
- Train local staff basic troubleshooting, maintenance and upkeep of SmartRent products/software as needed
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing environment
- At least 1 year of experience in project management or similar role
- Experience with a CRM or project management solution (Salesforce and Jira preferred)
- Must be tech savvy and computer literate
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Hands on experience with training new customers on software or physical products
- Experience with and a skill for de-escalating situations
- The ability to write about technical subjects clearly and in an engaging style
- The enthusiasm, patience, and organization required to handle multiple client requests effectively
- An excellent work ethic and attention to detail
- Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Property Management or Multi-Family housing
- Technical understanding of how smart home devices work and how to install them
- Hands on experience with software implementation while supporting customers using an Enterprise Hardware/Software or SaaS Solution
- Do the hard work and go out of your way to deliver excellence
