Job Description
F&G is hiring for a Compensation Analyst is responsible for supporting the administration of compensation programs, policies and procedures at F&G in a consistent manner that ensures compliance with internal policies and government regulations.
This position reports to the Manager, Compensation on the Total Rewards team. This position will interact with all levels within the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Partner with Talent Acquisition team to review and provide guidance for new hire offer recommendations
- Evaluate promotion requests to ensure alignment with promotion policy. Provide promotional increase recommendations to the Manager, Compensation based on an analysis of internal and external comparator data
- Review current and new job descriptions to ensure consistency and conduct job evaluations to make recommendations for appropriate salary grading, FLSA status, and pay levels
- Assist Manager, Compensation with internal compensation review requests
- Complete compensation survey participation for external salary surveys
- Assist with other compensation processes as needed (ie merit cycle, incentive programs)
- Participate in HR and/or Total Rewards department initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
Experience and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years’ experience in Human Resources or related field
- Experience working in Compensation or Total Rewards preferred
- Pursuit of CCP, SHRM-CP, or PHR designation preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- General knowledge of compensation practices
- General knowledge of compensation related employment laws and regulations
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to develop positive rapport with employees at all levels
- Ability to analyze information and provide recommendations
- Ability to prioritize multiple priorities and adapt with appropriate flexibility
- Minimal travel required (less than 10%)
