Starting salary pay rate (Depending on experience) - $28.00/hr. - $32.00/hr.

Essential Functions include, but are not limited to the following:*

  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and writing skills are required.

  • Experience with market pricing for job analysis, job evaluation, and compensation planning/budgeting

  • Conducts market analyses for use in job evaluation and recommends appropriate compensation packages.

  • Reviews and recommends modifications to various incentive pay plans.

  • Conducts market analysis to determine market competitiveness of pay programs and recommends changes where necessary.

  • Lead the compensation planning and review process, which includes creating guidelines on benchmark data and innovative processes for all entities.

  • Manages company participation in selected compensation surveys and performs associated comparisons and analyses of results.

  • Creates and revises job descriptions and defines core competencies, skills, and educational experience.

  • Analyzes the market to recommend the salary structure adjustment and salary adjustment budgets.

  • Liaison with the management teams and stakeholders’ to educate, facilitate and provide information on compensation reviews and increases

  • Collaborates with internal teams to ensure job descriptions are current with any state licensure requirements.

  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: 

  • Knowledge of various job evaluation techniques, salary survey practices and methodologies, broad bands, job documentation, the elements of total rewards, and career ladder concepts.

  • Knowledge of Federal, state, and municipal privacy laws and the applicability to the day-to-day operation of compensation areas.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and writing skills are required.

  • Experience with market pricing for job analysis, job evaluation, and compensation planning/budgeting.

  • Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple large-scale projects simultaneously with minimal supervision through multi-tasking and prioritization. 

  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

  • A bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience in HR support in Compensation, OR 

  • Seven (7) years of experience in Compensation or Accounting/Payroll.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
