Responsibilities
- Provides complex analytical support in incentive plan data gathering and reporting, the development of merit budgets and salary structure modifications or updates.
- Provide oversight on administration and on-going process improvement efforts associated with current incentive compensation plans.
- Responsible for validating, reconciling and reporting on all incentive compensation calculations, and working closely with various cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all incentive compensation payment and associated reporting
- Analyzes industry/peer data and makes recommendations for changes to integrate diverse plans into the main Zayo compensation plan.
- Participates in design and support of Workday compensation automation and administration.
- Assists Workday admins in launching the merit and promotional process, responds to questions about completion of the process, proactively reports completion, resolves any program issues.
- Reviews proposed promotions for conformance to established guidelines, policies and practices. Recommends corrective or alternative actions to resolve problems.
- Reviews requests for new or revised jobs to determine appropriate total compensation grid assignment, FLSA classification, organizational structures, etc. and documents findings.
- Partners with others in the department to ensure employee data is accurate and up to date.
- Assists in ad-hoc analytics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years analytics or project reporting experience required.
- 5+ years compensation administration or Finance experience preferred.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Intermediate knowledge of HRIS systems (i.e. Workday, SAP, etc.).
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
- Knowledge of compensation practices and laws.
- Demonstrated interest and expertise in analytical and quantitative methods used for compensation.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize effectively and work under pressure deadlines.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
Base pay range: $65,600 - 87,500, commensurate with experience.
