What you’ll do:

  • Compensation Management:
    • Develop and administer PrizePicks’ compensation strategies and programs, including salary structures, variable pay plans, and incentive programs.
      • Develop job descriptions for all roles 
      • Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to ensure competitive compensation practices.
      • Collaborate with HR and management teams to review and determine salary adjustments, promotions, and bonuses.
      • Develop total rewards program and communicate total compensation to employees
    • Benefits Administration:
      • Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of PrizePicks’ employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
      • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to employee benefits, such as ERISA, HIPAA, and ACA.
      • Communicate and educate employees about available benefits, eligibility, and enrollment procedures.
    • Policy Development and Compliance
      • Develop and maintain compensation and benefits policies, procedures, and guidelines in accordance with company goals, legal requirements, and industry standards.
      • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure accuracy, consistency, and fairness in compensation and benefits practices.
      • Develop and administer promotion process

What you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience. 
  • Proven experience as a Compensation and Benefits Manager or a similar role within a fast-paced, startup environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of compensation practices, benefits administration, and relevant employment laws and regulations. 
  • Proficient in HRIS and compensation management systems, as well as Google suite.
