What You Will Be Doing:

Monitor the competitive landscape and keep Shelter up to speed on emerging opportunities and threats.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience. Master’s degree preferred. 
• Typically requires 7+ years of experience in business strategy planning, business analysis, competitive intelligence, market research, or related experience.
• Typically requires 3+ years of experience in the insurance industry. 
• Strong knowledge of key business and financial drivers, including key economic and industry trends that could impact the organization.
• Ability to influence decision makers and work with cross-functional teams at all levels.
• Ability to seek, compile and interpret information from a variety of sources, such as trade journals, research reports, white papers, financial reports, and survey data.
• Strong quantitative, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and meeting facilitation skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information in a clear and persuasive manner.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing business priorities and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
