Competitive Intelligence Analyst

The Competitive Intelligence Analyst is responsible for researching, collecting, analyzing, and presenting data about our competitors, markets and customers that will help our internal business partners make informed business decisions. This position develops tools and processes to provide analysis at a level appropriate to the intended audience.

What you do

• Develop and implement new ideas, tools and processes which further enhances competitor tracking. Prepare reports and graphic illustrations of findings.
• Effectively develop and communicate results of complex analysis to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Develop and assist in the maintenance of research data bases to provide competitive intelligence data to the product development process on an ongoing basis.
• Establish research methodology and design format to gather data from other companies.
• Participate in product development meetings to develop awareness enabling proactive competitive intelligence.
• Develop procedures and codes of conduct for research and analyses.
• Lead customer and market segmentation analyses to identify potential market opportunities for division products.
• Develop and present recommendations for marketing programs and distribution channel opportunities based on results of analyses.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you bring

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
• 2-4 years related experience required.
• General knowledge of health markets including dental/vision/Medicare.
• Strong analytical ability; displays a high proficiency to analyze and present data/information.
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required.
• Experience developing thought leadership content.
