Location: Remote US

Compensation Range: $100,000 to $110,000 base plus bonus and equity

What You’ll Do: 

Huntress is adding a Competitive Intelligence Strategist to our growing product marketing team. You’ll own the competitive monitoring, battlecard creation, project-specific analysis, competitive enablement motions, and deep technical comparisons of emerging and incumbent products in the cybersecurity space. This is a critical role that will engage with sales, prospects, and customers to highlight our go-to-market differentiation.

As the Competitive Intelligence Strategist, you will research, analyze, and synthesize industry trends, competitive landscapes, and market dynamics into sales-digestible content and deliverables for leadership. You’ll uniquely contribute to the growth, revenue support, and actionability of your research, scaling the impact of competitive content at Huntress.

Responsibilities:  

  • Own insight generation, key market/competitive intelligence, and market sizing deliverables that will be leveraged by marketing, sales, product management, finance, and other teams
  • Monitor competitor activities, including product launches, partnerships, and engagement strategies using primary and secondary research, and publicly available data sources including investor portals, analyst briefings, social media, trade shows, syndicated data
  • Analyze competitor strengths and weaknesses to develop actionable insights for our prospects, customers, and partners
  • Collect unique and hard-to-find intel from various sources, including market reports, industry publications, and primary research - separating the insight from the noise
  • Identify opportunities for product and service enhancements and collaborate with senior leadership to land and implement recommendations
  • Engage key stakeholders - sales, product, senior leadership, and marketing – with our competitive differentiation, core content, and GTM messaging

What You Bring To The Team:   

  • 2+ years experience working in the technology industry (SaaS preferred) with strong focus on competitive intelligence, market analysis, technical product teardowns, or other related experience
  • Proven experience in the cybersecurity industry, with a deep understanding of market dynamics, threats, and key players 
  • Comfortability assisting the sales process, including engaging directly with buyers, customers, and partners to articulate our differentiation and deploy intelligence to enable our sales teams
  • Excellent ability to translate competitive insights into actionable content at both business and technical levels
  • Strong market research, quantitative, and analytical skills, with demonstrated capabilities in interpreting data and qualitative info to distill into actionable key takeaways
  • Proven experience in competitive intelligence, market analysis, technical product teardowns, or related roles - experience in SaaS preferred
  • Strong presentation skills, with proven ability to convey complex information to a variety of audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations
  • Experience with competitive intelligence tools like Klue, Clozd, Crayon, or other CI platforms is a plus
