The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a Complaint Analyst I, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Works independently to investigate complaints (investigation level I and level II) in compliance with company procedures using designated databases.
• Author reports and customer responses based on findings obtained from complaint investigations.
• Facilitates cross-functional teams to investigate complaints, if applicable.
• Manages timelines for complaint investigation to ensure complaints are addressed in a timely manner.
• Ensures appropriate failure mode classifications are assigned to allow precise trending for data analysis purposes.
• Identifies applicable corrective, preventative, and supplier actions to facilitate complaint closure.
• Interfaces with internal and external customers and international affiliates.
• Contribute or write quality processes for complaint handling or complaint summaries for complaints that have previously been investigated.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in a Technical, Engineering, Medical or Life Sciences (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
• One ( 1) year of clinical, quality, regulatory, or safety experience in a private, public, government or military environment.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Proven ability to communicate effectively, orally, and in writing
• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgement
• Experience with MS Office applications including: Word, Excel, TEAMs, and Outlook
• Experience with regulatory requirements and/or medical devices
• Advanced wound therapeutics product knowledge
• Experience with data processing and analysis
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team
• Ability to use databases and prepare documents
• Ability to work effectively with all employees and external business contacts while conveying a positive attitude
• ASQ qualification

Travel: May include up to 5% domestic
