Job Description
Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our centralized Complex Mobility Central Coordinator. The Complex Mobility Central Coordinator is responsible for coordination of all Rehab team equipment set-ups and staff scheduling as directed. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Schedule rehab staff to optimize workflows
- Work with patients, physicians, therapists and referral sources to optimize the equipment needs for customers
- Understand payer requirements for equipment and be able to clearly communicate them to customers
- Perform insurance verification and obtain necessary documentation for equipment coverage
- Stay well informed of industry updates and Medicare changes, particularly those related to rehab
- Assist with rehab sales support and in-services within a defined region, as necessary
- Assist customer service staff to coordinate rehab related discharges
- Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary
Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Ability to work with a diverse group of people in a caring, personable manner
- Excellent public relations and customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including phone demeanor
- Ability to learn new equipment and technologies quickly
- Ability to build and maintain a good rapport with referral agencies, physician offices, patients, etc.
- Sit for extended periods of time
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Perform basic mathematics calculations
