Compliance Analyst

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Compliance Analyst is responsible for managing and executing specific programs as part of Point’s Compliance Management System and providing day-to-day compliance support to the organization. The primary focus will be supporting Point’s servicing operations. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to manage programs independently and partner with stakeholders to achieve objectives.  Additional areas of responsibility may include managing testing and monitoring, corrective action, regulatory tracking, marketing, and fraud. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contribute with the development, execution, and management of Point’s Compliance Management System 
• Execute ongoing monitoring and testing of home equity products including complaints and call monitoring 
• Provide day to day compliance support to product and operational teams 
• Manage new and ongoing company and individual lending licenses  
• Collect and report origination and servicing data as appropriate to state regulators
• Review ongoing changes to state/federal regulations impacting Point
• Prepare and deliver analysis and reporting related to status of compliance risk

ABOUT YOU

• 5+ years of experience in financial services focused in mortgage lending compliance
• Experience in state level examinations, licensing, or reporting
• Strong knowledge of state and federal lending laws and regulation including but not limited to ECOA, TILA, RESPA, BSA/AML, HMDA, UDAAP, FCRA, TCPA, GLBA, EFTA, ESIGN, and Flood. 
• Experience in both building and maintaining compliance programs 
• Prior work experience managing and/or executing monitoring and testing programs 
• Professional certifications such as Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager preferred

Family Friendly

Point will top off state applicable PFL earnings, as well as two weeks of fully paid leave to be available after exhaustion of state PFL. In addition, employees will receive 4 weeks of fully paid transition time. For the first consecutive four weeks after returning to work following parental leave, and following exhaustion of all other paid leave benefits, the employee may work part-time, meaning two or three days per week, and will receive 100% of regular base pay.

Work From Home Stipends

With employees working remote, Point will provide employees a $50 monthly cell phone stipend and a $50 monthly internet stipend. In addition, we will reimburse up to $150 to help you purchase supplies for your home office.
