We are looking for a highly proficient, articulate, solution oriented, and proactive Compliance Analyst to join our Canvas Compliance team, focused on overseeing the supply chain research group within our Firm.

What you’ll do

In this role, you will work as a member of the Canvas Compliance team supporting Canvas FRG, LLC, a primary research group within Point72.  Specifically, you will:

• Main point of contact for compliance related items for Canvas Research Analysts
• Conduct on-boarding due diligence of new consultants to Canvas FRG, LLC and annual re-reviews
• Chaperone consultant calls for Canvas Research Analysts and document accordingly
• Surveille and monitor communications between Canvas Research Analyst interactions with discretionary investment professionals
• Monitor and notate chaperoned calls in proprietary compliance management system, track consultants to ensure appropriate chaperone coverage
• Facilitate quarterly invoicing and payment with the finance department
• Participate in Material Non-Public Information training for Canvas Research Analysts
• Brainstorm and implement ideas for enhancing compliance oversight improvement and more efficient processes
• Monitor and stay current on applicable laws, regulatory initiatives, and case law
• Recommend and draft enhancements to policies and procedures

• Undergraduate degree required with a maximum of 2 years of work experience
• Attention to detail and the tenacity to produce meticulous work product

• The ability to juggle multiple priorities at once under pressure, prioritize such tasks and see each through to completion
• Exceptional reading and writing skills, as well as outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

The annual base salary range is $80,000 - $90,000 annually and this role is eligible for overtime. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
