ABOUT THIS ROLE
Job Title: Compliance Analyst, Data/Reporting
Location: Manilla
The Compliance Analyst, Data Reporting, is responsible for data management and reporting for the Compliance Department. This position will assist in acquiring data and compiling reporting related to compliance trending, management reporting, quality control testing, regulatory reporting, and regulatory exam requests. An individual in this position must have strong reporting and analytical skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to effectively communicate.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain logic to accurately fulfill various regulatory reporting requests related to securities trading and cash activity.
- Fulfills ad hoc and regularly scheduled data requests from regulatory agencies, ensuring timely and accurate provision of information in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Maintain inventory of data models, sampling criteria and testing methodologies.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to regulatory compliance and incorporates this knowledge into analytical approaches.
- Create and update procedures and process flows to accurately document compliance data reporting processes and applicable controls.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Demonstrated ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information. with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Detail oriented and possess a high degree of organizational skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks and work efficiently under specific time constraints.
- Ability to work independently in a high production environment.
- Ability to understand and handle complex and diversified work.
Education and/or Experience:
- 2+ years Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, finance, or related field or equivalent relevant experience.
- Technical expertise regarding data models and data mining
- Excellent proficiency in database querying and programming languages such as SQL.
- Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI
Work Environment:
This job operates in an office environment for 3 times a week in the office.
