NorthOne is looking for a Compliance Associate to join our high performing team 🚀. We ❤ compliance. As our Compliance Associate you’ll help us build the future of banking. Reporting to our Associate VP of Partnerships, you’ll be joining a team who have helped build companies like Chime, Twitter, Instacart, E-Trade, McKinsey, Etsy, eBay and more.

REQUIREMENTS

As a Compliance Associate, you'll lead the update process for our Deposit Account Agreement, collaborate on due diligence and compliance issues, conduct annual compliance training, contribute to content development, and coordinate policy updates to ensure regulatory compliance and support company initiatives.

The skills required for this role - 

• You have 1-3 years experience in a Compliance, Risk, Governance, or similar role in FinTech or banking.
• You love managing multiple tasks at once, while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• You’re a pro at staying organized and delivering accurate and meaningful work on time.
• You’re adaptive and thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities can change.
• You’re a natural communicator and you love diagnosing and solving problems.

Bonus points - 

• Legal or regulatory experience
• Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact NorthOne's business
• Experience in completing end-to-end compliance testing activities
• Project management experience or certification
• You have worked in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
• You come from a family of small business owners
• You have a non-traditional or diverse background (personal or professional). You’ve lived a life that is different, where you've been challenged or have chosen to challenge yourself

• Market range for this role at NorthOne is $60,000 - $80,000. This market range is based on total compensation (vs. only base salary), which is in line with our compensation philosophy.
