Location: We are a remote-first company. This role can be based anywhere in the US.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Compliance Licensing Specialist to join our nimble and team-oriented compliance team. If you are an extremely well organized, collaborative, and proactive licensing professional with a desire to learn and grow; then this job is for you. 

What you’ll do:

• Lead in the preparation and filing of new requests and renewals of required licenses, certifications, registrations, bonds, and business licenses. 
• Lead in the preparation and filing of required annual, quarterly, and monthly reports.
• Lead in the gathering, delivery, and management of documentation and correspondence related to state and other exams and audits.
• Lead in the assignment, tracking, and reporting of compliance training.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure that all licensing requirements are being met
• Assist with other special projects/processes to support the compliance function.
• Communicate with state regulators, as needed, about state-specific requirements and/or status of state registrations/submissions.

What you bring to the team:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, with 3+ years of licensing  experience, including experience with NMLS.
• Exceptional judgment and impeccable integrity.
• Ability to interact effectively with individuals at all organizational levels, including executives and senior management.
• Organized, detailed, and ability to juggle multiple pressing priorities.
• Ability to work under pressure and identify, prioritize and resolve issues quickly and independently.
• Excellent communication and project management skills, with demonstrated ability to build and scale programs and lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Natural curiosity, technical savvy, and a real passion for working in a customer focused company where business, technology and law intersect.
• Intermediate to advanced software skills with Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Salesforce, and DocuSign 
• Experience with Smartsheet is highly desired
