Summary of Role:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Compliance Manager to join our team. The Compliance Manager will play a critical role in ensuring our advertising practices adhere to GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, PCI, and other relevant regulations. You will also be responsible for our company's overall adherence to legal standards and in-house policies.


Responsibilities:
  • Help Improve the maturity of AdCellerant’s Security Compliance program.
  • Develop, implement, maintain, and revise compliance program documentation and policies and procedures for the general operation of the compliance program to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.
  • Ensure the organization's compliance with GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, PCI, and other relevant regulations.
  • Review advertising products, materials and data handling practices to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Coordinate with different department leaders to ensure that data collection, storage, processing, and disposal methods meet the requirements set out by GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, PII, PCI, and other laws.
  • Conduct periodic internal audits and reviews to ensure that compliance procedures are followed.
  • Create and maintain employee training and awareness programs to ensure the organization is adhering to standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on regulatory compliance matters, including GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and other legal requirements.
  • Create and maintain internal documentation for compliance with various security auditing measures, including SOC 2, ISO 27001:2022, GDPR, HIPAA, and NIST CSF.
  • Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control.
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics and/or Key Risk Indicators ("KRIs") for potential risks or issues, performing further analysis or testing as needed.
  • Regularly assess the efficiency of control systems and recommend effective improvements.
  • Work with Engineering to determine risk, as well as solutions to remediate and mitigate relevant risk to company and/or end user.
  • Maintain a relationship with the Engineering and Product teams for Vulnerability Management (and vulnerability remediation).
  • Manage audits from regulatory organizations.
  • Assess the business’s future ventures to identify possible compliance risks.
  • Regularly report to business functions on current risk and compliance performance.
  • Work with the Security team for alert monitoring and triage

Location Information:

This role is preferred to be located near our Denver, CO office, with hybrid work from home flexibility.

  • Our HQ is in Denver, Colorado. Our fun, downtown location is open for those who wish to work in the office, set visitor meetings, and collaborate with coworkers in person. Compensation:

Annual salary range: $110,000 - $130,000

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience as a Compliance Manager.
  • Extensive knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, PCI, PII, and other relevant regulatory standards.
  • Extensive knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001:2022, NIST CSF, CIS benchmarks.
  • Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping.
  • Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities.
  • An analytical mind able to “see” the complexities of procedures and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in auditing of network, operating system, and application security.
  • Experience managing an audit throughout the full audit lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Computing Platforms and services.
  • BS/BA in law, finance, business administration, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
  • One or more relevant certifications. These can include Certification of Healthcare Compliance (CHC), Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP), Certified in Healthcare Privacy and Security (CHPS), Certified Information Privacy Specialist, CGRC, CISSP, CISM, CPP, SANS-GIAC
