Your Department - Legal, Compliance & AML 

We are looking for someone to join us on our mission and help us scale up. Within this role you will be ensuring the company's integrity by overseeing and reporting on network compliance with regulations and internal guidelines. You will also contribute to developing and implementing the Governance Framework and related policies, excluding those handled by Compliance and AML functions, tailored to the company’s evolving needs. Job Description

Some of the things that you will be doing: 

  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive compliance programs that align with regulatory and industry standards.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to internal policies, legal requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and address potential compliance issues.
  • Collaborate with legal, finance, and operational teams to ensure policies and procedures meet compliance needs.
  • Stay up-to-date on regulatory changes and advise leadership on necessary policy adjustments
  • Lead compliance training initiatives to educate employees on regulations and ethical practices.
  • Investigate compliance violations and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.
  • Prepare compliance reports and present findings to senior management and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure a proactive approach to regulatory risk management and implement best practices.
  • Support the development of a strong compliance culture within the organization.

Qualifications

You will be a great fit if you have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree, in Law, Business Administration or Economics preferred
  • Professional qualification in either Compliance and/or Corporate Risk Management would be an asset
  • At least 5 years of work experience in a position related to regulatory requirements, risk management, compliance or internal audit
  • Full proficiency in English
