Your Role and Responsibilities
Compliance Program Management for IBM public cloud’s critical compliance programs and its delivery plans.

Our public cloud is expanding with new feature/function new markets new industries including banking and regulated workloads. To deliver these capabilities requires us to run a series of compliance programs spanning teams across the Cloud organization and IBM. Our team is responsible for leading and assuring the successful execution and delivery of these programs accountable to the VP of IBM Cloud. These programs are typically multi-quarter with several technical dependencies to manage.

Successful candidates need to demonstrate that they can operate across a matrixed organization with strong project management technical aptitude negotiation and communication skills. We operate as a small program management team requiring candidates to be able to adapt to varied assignments from leading a compliance program to assuring programs run across the broader Cloud landscape.

Responsibilities:

• Leverage a strong technical background to understand the intricacies of the program and build a credible project and execution plan
• Build skills and knowledge to understand the technology technical requirements and dependencies to underpin the plan
• Demonstrate solid leadership and negotiation skills to work across matrixed teams responsible for services inside and beyond the cloud organization setting expectations securing commitments negotiating to identify effective resolution to issues
• Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization including at senior executive levels with clarity of messaging and to enable resolution of critical issues
• Work in partnership with stakeholders in Product Management Engineering Operations and Delivery at technical management and executive levels to achieve successful outcomes
• Provide expertise to enable broader governance and assurance of the full portfolio of programs across the Cloud organization

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Minimum 14+ years of experience in software industry
• Understanding of compliance and security programs like NIST SOC2 PCI etc
• Proficiency in Program Management in the compliance domain
• Expertise in setting up and running compliance programs
• Excellent communication skills along with Problem solving data management
